The Aqua Pitch Compact (アクアピッチコンパクト Akuapitchikonpakuto) is an item of Japanese merchandise released alongside the anime in 2003/2004. It is designed in a similar fashion to the winged shell lockets commonly worn by Mermaid princess characters throughout the series, albeit somewhat larger. Inside the locket is a single button, which when pressed causes a light within said button to flash and a short sound clip to play. The clip appears similar to the sound played when a transformation sequence begins in the series.
Two versions of the device were released, in 2003 and 2004, likely to capitalise on the release of Pure however both appear identical in function. Both versions came with what appears to be an art card, the 2003 has a still of Lucia Nanami's transformation while the 2004 version shows the three main characters singing.
